Why Webdesign
Your website gives your potential customers the first impression of your company. Having a professionally designed website can increase your business considerably. Professional web designers have experience in writing html code, creating images and they know the requirements and where to advertise your site.
- We create browser independent html code, so that all your clients can see your website correctly.

How long does it normally take to build and host a web site?
This totally depends on the complexity of the site, the graphics and the availability of existing logos and text. On average it will take 2 weeks. We will work closely with you to make the whole process as efficient as possible to get you online fast.
If I already have a site can you help me improve it?
Of course we can, we can totally redesign it for you or use the existing site as a template and make small adjustment as color, text, logos etc.
Can you use my company's existing logo, brochure design, and other materials for my website?
A website is an extension to your existing corporate identity. So when you already have logos and brochures, incorporating these items will be of utmost importance to your overall business look.
Is there any maintenance required after designing and hosting a web site?
Of course you want your customers to come back to you. That is why we advise to keep your website up to date with new information and new products so your customers will return. We can offer maintenance packages for a certain number of hours a month/year or you can just ask us when needed.
Does your Company's name and logo have to appear on the pages you design for me?
Yes, it is part of the contract.
How does it work?
- We will work closely with you to determine the purpose of the website, the intended audience, the desired look, feel and content. Also, domain registration, web hosting and advertisement of your site will be discussed.
- Visual concept design. Here we discuss the colors and layout of your site. We can use your existing brochures or begin from scratch and create a storyboard. At this point we will also collect all data you would like us to use; logos, brochures, pictures etc. We will create a template page which will be used for your entire website.
- Content design. In this phase, we will ask you to create the text for each page on your site. Of course we will assist if needed. This text can also be derived from your existing brochures.
- Actual Development. After you have approved the results of the foregoing steps, we start building the site, including the graphics. This development phase also includes testing. Both navigation and html compliancy are subject to our tests.
- Delivery and adjusting. In this phase we will finalize the site together with you. The site will therefore be placed on a protected server, only accessible to you and us, so that you can access the site from anywhere around the world.
- After you have approved the results of the foregoing steps, we will upload your site to your web host and make sure that your site will show up in search engines.
Considerations
Here are a few aspects that we believe will contribute to websites that work for you.
- We do not use frames, since search engines have limited ability to index framesets. Using frames can therefore limit the exposure of your site to the world.
- We avoid large graphics or graphics that need a long time to load. Some visitors still use analog modems and your site should be friendly to them as well.
- We use three basic colors for a site, combined into a theme.
- We always use Title, Description and Keywords META tags, which enables search engines to index your site properly.
- We prefer not to use scripted pages, since search engines can have trouble indexing them. This can limit the exposure of your site to the world.
- We validate all the websites we create.
- And a note about Flash. Flash has some advantages. And a bit more disadvantages.
Advantages: You can impress your visitor with a visual presentation.
Disadvantages: Flash is not search engine friendly, it must be updated more frequently and it is very labor-intensive and expensive to maintain.
